█ Program Overview


The so-called dry quenching refers to a method of quenching by using inert gas to cool down red coke. During the CDQ process, red coke is loaded from the top of the CDQ furnace. The low-temperature inert gas is blown into the red coke layer of the CDQ cooling section by the circulating fan to absorb the red coke moist heat. The cooled coke is discharged from the bottom of the CDQ. The high-temperature inert gas from the ring-shaped flue of the dry quenching furnace flows through the dry quenching boiler for heat exchange. The boiler generates steam, and the cooled inert gas is re-blowed into the dry quenching furnace by the circulating fan, and the inert gas is circulated in the closed system. use.


During dry quenching operation, a small amount of air will leak into the negative pressure section of the gas circulation system, and O2 will react with coke through the red coke layer to generate CO2. CO2 will be reduced to CO in the high temperature zone of the coke layer. As the number of cycles increases, the CO concentration in the circulating gas becomes higher and higher. In addition, the residual volatiles of coke are always precipitating, and H2, CO, CH4 and the like generated from pyrolysis of coke are also flammable and explosive components. Therefore, in the dry quenching operation, the concentration of combustible components in the circulating gas is controlled to be below the explosion limit. It is a necessary condition for safe production.

The TK-2000 online analysis system is installed on the flue from the outlet of the fan to the quenching chamber, and analyzes the content of O2, CO, CO2, and H2 in the circulating gas on-line to provide guarantee for optimizing the process and preventing safety accidents. Because the dry quenching gas contains tar, dust, benzene, naphthalene, H2S and water vapor and other pollutants, the sample gas pretreatment system becomes the core of the entire analysis system.

◢ Processing system

The CDQ flue gas contains pollutants such as tar, dust, benzene, naphthalene, H2S, and water vapor. We adopt a dual filter sampling device to effectively filter the impurities in the sample gas. With nitrogen purging regularly, the sampling device is not blocked and the system runs stably.
